I’m Dr. Jamie Lucarelli, the founder of Tattooed Chemist. After starting my career as a licensed hairstylist, I followed my dreams of becoming a scientist and earned a Ph.D. in Geochemistry. My unique background has taught me how to use nontoxic ingredients to produce high-quality, functional, and cost-effective beauty products while minimizing our environmental impact. I personally formulate and hand-make our products with these values in mind. 

Our products do not contain silicone, waxes, synthetic perfumes, dyes, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), phthalates, GMOs, parabens, or artificial preservatives. We do not test on animals, and our products are vegan. All of our packaging is recyclable or biodegradable.
